“Empowered by Christ for Gospel Living”
Parish Mission, February 18-20

The sacred forty-day
journey of Lent invites us to be transformed by the renewal of our hearts,
minds and actions. Our parish mission on the evenings of Sunday,
February 18th through Tuesday, February 20th will provide a time of refreshment and renewal
as we consider the joys and challenges
of living our faith in the complexity of today’s church and world with
mission presenter, Franciscan Sister Michelle L’Allier.
Having
lived in community with people of all ages and many cultures, Sr. Michelle is
well-versed in Gospel living and the
importance of living out one’s
spirituality in a practical ways through our relationships with another and
our world. Sister Michelle has done retreat and pastoral work
in the Midwest and the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as in Canada, Nicaragua,
Kenya and Tanzania. She currently
serves at the Franciscan Life Center based out of Little Falls by offering
retreats, workshops and spiritual direction. Sr. Michelle is very much aware of
the mystery and invitation to live in
communion with God and fostering
community wherever we are. A creative and engaging
presenter, Sr. Michelle brings keen
insight and diverse resources to the challenges facing people of faith today!
