This organization is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, through service to our community (here and abroad).

Our Mission:

a) To provide a social outlet and prayer support group for one another. To be of service to our parish/community by working for spiritual growth with prayer, support, and goodwill.

b) To plan projects meant to raise funds to maintain our Council, fund its projects and assist the parish with special requests when possible.

Any woman, 18 or older, of St. Timothy's is eligible to become a Council member by coming to meetings and paying annual dues of $3 per year.  When a member reaches age 62 or has 20 consecutive years of membership with this group, she will be recognized as a lifetime member with all rights and privileges of the group but no further dues are required. Only dues paid and lifetime members may vote.

Funeral Luncheons: A major activity for this group is to provide a luncheon after funeral services. Chairwomen call volunteers who have signed up to make the food and also schedule workers who can donate their time setting up, serving, and cleaning up on the day of the funeral. This is a very special gift for the family and friends of the deceased.

Other CCW activities include:

  • Christmas Fair - bake shop, luncheon, and crafts

  • Country Store at the annual carnival

  • Christmas cookie sale

  • Annual blood drive

  • Social concerns (i.e. Madonna Plan, Appalachian Project, CEAP, Cancer Home, Baptismal Cloths, Birthright)
